How to reach Sorrento and the Hotel Cesare Augusto:

• By car from Northern Italy
  When you are between Caserta and Napoli keep going straight until the Napoli tollbooth exit. After about 15 km follow the signs for the A3 Highway, going toward Salerno. You will reach another tollgate where you will pay in advance the fee for the Napoli-Salerno A3 Highway.
  After 20 km, immediately after Pompei, exit at Castellammare di Stabia and follow the signs for Vico Equense, Seiano, Meta di Sorrento, Sorrento.
  
  

• By car from Southern Italy
  From the Salerno-Reggio Calabria (A3) exit at Castellammare di Stabia and follow the signs for Sorrento (Penisola Sorrentina).
  
  
  

• By public transportation from Naples’ train station (Piazza Garibaldi)
  For those that wish to use public transportation, it is advisable to go to the main train station in Naples: Napoli Centrale at Piazza Garibaldi. Here you can take the Circumvesuviana train to reach Sorrento (access to the Circumvesuviana line is from the underpass inside the station). It will take approximately 60 minutes. Trains run approximately every half hour from 5 am to 11 pm.
  
  

• From the main port (Molo Beverello) in Naples
  Hydrofoils and ferries for Sorrento depart frequently. Check time tables ahead of time (they change according to the season: www.alilauro.it )
  This option is ideal also for those that arrive to the Capodichino airport. The port is reachable by taxi in about 15 minutes.

  (The closest train station to the main port (Molo Beverello) is Mergellina. If your train stops at Mergellina (www.trenitalia.com), then take a taxi for Molo Beverello. You can reach it in a few minute.)
